It was built in 1958 and has been very well maintained, from all we can see (official inspection TK). The current owner is obviously very into the retro style of the house, which we love. You can see interior shots on the BLS listing.
The neighborhood is known as La Cresta. About three blocks away is a bluff over looking the Kern River and moon-like oil field beyond. It's really a pretty stunning view and homes along Panorama Drive are huge and probably sell for more than a million each. A block to the east is Bakersfield Community College. So, there's some good walking places in the immediate neighborhood.
Everybody that knows La Cresta tells us, "Oh, you'll love it up there. It's a beautiful neighborhood and in the evenings you get a wonderful breeze. "
